I have a novel idea for you this time. Have you ever thought of looking in the non-wedding-dress department for some much-needed wedding-dress-inspiration?
If not, then let me inspire you to try it. You never know, perhaps a whole new world will suddenly open up for you! I find that doing this, i.e. pushing myself to broaden my creative horizons and look in different places, often inspires me in a completely unexpected way. Perhaps you know this feeling too?
I was inspired to write this, hopefully, helpful and motivating post this morning when I was updated on the latest news from the Copenhagen Fashion Week, which is in full swing this week. And boy! was I inspired! One particular designer, Stine Goya www.stinegoya.com made her way straight into my heart and sole! Stine Goya SS18 contains the most wonderful silhouettes that could easily be transformed into a gorgeous wedding dress for this coming summer. Another brilliant thing about having your wedding dress custom-made for you is that if you fall in love with a dress that's not in the right fabric, or even the right colour, then this can be so easily fixed! :-*
As a final note, I hope this post will work as an invitation for you to get out there and look for wedding dress inspiration anywhere else than you normally would do. Instead of hitting the usual High Street wedding shops (naming no names!), check out your favourite fashion designer, your favourite gallery, your favourite vintage market or even your favourite cocktail bar. Look at the places that you love to spend time in because those are the ones that inspire you to be you <3 And, above all, your wedding dress should reflect who you truly are helping you to become the best, most beautiful you possible.
I hope you'll have lots of fun getting out there and being inspired! Take a risk, live a little!
